What is the setup procedure?

The whole setup procedure includes 4 steps:

1. Sign up for a publisher account on SatoshiPay
2. Apply for a Tier 2 account
3. Create a Stellar wallet and put in your wallet details
4. Integrate SatoshiPay into your website by installing the WordPress Plugin or by our API

1. Sign up for a publisher account on SatoshiPay

First of all, please sign up for an account here. Fill in the form and check the boxes next to "I agree to the Terms of Service" as well as "I am not a robot". Click "Create Account" to confirm. 

An email titled "Please verify your email address with SatoshiPay" will then be sent to your mailbox. Open the email and click the link attached to confirm your email address.  

2. Apply for a Tier 2 account

In order to start selling items with the SatoshiPay widget, you will have to apply for a Tier 2 account. Please follow these steps to apply for a Tier 2 account. 

After clicking the link to verify your email address and logging in, you will be redirected to the "Overview" page. Click the blue button "Become a Verified Publisher" to apply for a Tier 2 account so that you can start selling goods and accepting donations with SatoshiPay. Fill in the form and click submit to confirm your application. 

Your application will then be reviewed by our team within 1-2 working days. After our review, we will send you an email to inform you of the application result. 

3. Create a Stellar wallet and put in your wallet details

After your application has been approved, you can then proceed to create a Stellar wallet and put in your wallet details. Click here for further information about it.  

4. Integrate SatoshiPay into your website

There are two ways to integrate SatoshiPay into your website:

Option 1  For WordPress-based websites

This is the easiest, fastest option. Simply download the SatoshiPay Wordpress Plugin, install it and activate it.

Option 2 For all websites

SatoshiPay can be integrated into all systems by using the API. You can read the technical description on the open API docs here. Depending on your system, this approach requires a little more effort, but we're happy to help you out. Contact us for more info at [e-mail].
